We see that the Microsoft Graph API traffic has returned to normal. We are continuing to monitor the situation as we await the all clear from Microsoft.

All grants and API endpoints should now be working correctly.

Investigating

We are aware that Microsoft is currently experiencing service degradation affecting Microsoft 365 services. This is impacting Nylas customers with Microsoft grants..

What's happening:

Microsoft has identified issues with their infrastructure in North America that is affecting access to Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Outlook, and Teams.

Impact to Nylas customers:
- API requests to Microsoft grants may experience timeouts or errors
- Syncing of emails, contacts, and calendar events from Microsoft grants may be delayed or temporarily unavailable
- This affects customers using Microsoft grants.

What we're doing:
The Nylas API is operating normally. This issue is with Microsoft's upstream services. We are actively monitoring Microsoft's status and will provide updates as their services recover.

What you can do:
- Implement retry logic with exponential backoff for API calls to Microsoft-connected accounts
- Monitor https://x.com/MSFT365Status for direct updates from Microsoft
